The end of a rescue. My cousin and I just happened to come across this totota 4x4 that was stuck on this ridge. They had been trying to get it down for almost 2 hours before we came along. Good thing we had a tow line. Guess what was on the other side of that ridge? A long way down! Beer and 4x4s do not mix! Posted by Picasa


This little character is called a California Newt. It is about 5 inches long. It was found in the middle of the road in the San Gabriel Mountains north of Los Angeles. Their skin is highly toxic and can kill an adult human if ingested.  Posted by Picasa

Open Wide! Here is my Pioneertown locality female rosy boa just finishing off a rat. You wouldn't think that a rat this size could possibly get past the tiny little head this boa has. Totally amazing! Posted by Picasa
