Remarkable job of clarity from only a 2.0 megapixel Fujifilm camera. You can even see the tounge with ease. Notice the nice orange coloration of the lateral scales. Posted by Picasa

Sorry for startling you.

These types of snakes are very, very docile and don't get very big. In my opinion, they are the most gentle of all snakes. I hope that the snake didn't get you too shaken up. Thanks for the comment.

Check out this "head shot" of my female Pioneertown locale Rosy Boa. This snake is about a year old. Notice that the head is a different color than the body. A trait common to many rosy boas.  Posted by Picasa
