Making a run for the border.

Tomorrow I will be making a short overnight trip to the Mexican border town of Mexicali. This little burg rests just across from Calexico, California. I am making the trip with my friend and his wife. She wants to check out where she was raised at. I have been to Mexicali once before...and it was a very sleepy place. Should be a good little road trip. Of course I'll have my camera...just in case of some action shots. You never know when you will catch some illegal border crossers.

Stuper Bowl?

What a ripoff! For the Seahawks that is. Bad calls let the Steelers win. They stole the game.
I saw at least 3 bad calls...and the TD from Roethlisberger toward the end of the game was hardly conclusive. Then there was the refs allowing the Steelers a timeout when the play clock had clearly expired before one was signaled. Or the dubious manner in which Seattle got shafted on the TD for a very questionable "interference" call. This year the best team did not win...just the luckiest.

The commercials were good though...funnier than last year. Too bad there was no "wardrobe malfunction" though...that would have been great! Of course Janet will never get on another superbowl. I liked the dinosaur stepping on the caveman after he kicked the little dino. The woman on the plane who accidentally ended up on the guys lap was good too. Maybe more people ought to live by the slogan they were pushing..."Don't be too eager to pass judgement".

Oh well...there's always next year.
