According to a long term employee I know in CIS, they are way understaffed and CIS refuses to hire. In fact, by September, they will lay off their entire force of temporary DAOs. No replacements have been announced. In Los Angeles, about half of the DAOs are temporary employees. Just what in the hell is going on at the Department of Homeland Security anyway?
