Look at this antique California license plate from 1928. It is hard to believe, but my cousin and I found this plate not more the 50 feet off of Azusa Canyon Road...near Crystal Lake. You would have thought that with all the people from LA going there since before 1928; there would be nothing left to find. What really makes this interesting is that it is an "Exempt" government plate. It was near an old auto frame in some rocks...maybe an old police car ran off the road chasing gangsters back then?
